EDUxEDU lands in Japan
For the first time the EDUxEDU project makes a stop in Japan in the cities of Nagasaki and Tokio.
More than 50 participants with different points of views involved themselves with the common desire to accompany children and teenagers even better on their path of growth.
The promotion and protection of the well-being of minors, the upbringing in the perspective of the Charisma of Unity, the education on interiority and the educational value of games were the chosen topics that were elaborated more in-deph through a participatory method that united theoretical reflection and lived experiences, giving life at an enriching exchange between all on local educational challenges.
In both cities there was an afternoon of games happening afterwards, which was open to the families of the community and in which participated more than 30 children. It was a special occasion to get to know each other and to have fun experimenting on the field.
Here are two short impressions:
“I’ve understood the profound value of games. I told my kids before “go play games”, now I recognise the importance of finding the time to play with them.” (Young non-Christian mother, Nagasaki)
“Children have an important mission: Conquer the world! We have to do our best to help them” (Assistant, Tokio)
