The protection and well-being of children and adolescence and the education toward peace have been the themes of the annual meeting in Sao Paulo,Brazil, in early April. Around 70 educators,group leaders of children and families have taken part.

The new guidelines for the protection of children and young people,useful to the communities of Movimento dei Focolari to take part in and promote actions while guaranteeing the well/being of the youngest,were presented by Munir,former Attorney of Justice.

The exchange of experiences and initiatives for the affirmation of the peace culture has played  a key role in the consolidation of the culture of peace,above all the Living Peace Project, an education program devoted to teaching about peace,to which more than 100 schools and groups currently take part. To date more than 600 thousand children and young people have been reached by cultural and social initiatives in the 5 continents
