“The network of teachers, catechists, parents and group animators is getting ever bigger. We continue to move on with the children. ” Jorge Resende, one of the coordinators of EduxEdu Project in Angola ,has told us of some developments of the project in Luanda, capital of Angola. The project was launched in both Luanda and Lubango in May 2018.
The communities of the Focolare Movement in the country are being reorganized to be able of continually accompanying a large number of children and adolescents participating in local activities. Central points are the Pequena Chama Children’s Center (small flame), on the island of Mussulo, with 160 children and activities for the catechesis of about 500 children around Luanda.
