Foreword
This page describes how the website is managed with reference to the processing of personal data of the users who use it. The website can be accessed from the reserved area through a special registration that will require specific consent from those who interact («Users» or «interested parties»), in accordance with art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (G.D.P.R) and current regulations.
The reserved area provides access to two platforms, respectively WordPress and Moodle.
WordPress is the platform that you can easily use for blogs, forums, apps.
Moodle is the learning platform for educators and students.
This information is not applicable to other platforms that may be reached by the user via links.
According to the regulations indicated, all processing will be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of privacy and Users’ rights.
1. Data Controller:
The «owner» of their processing – i.e. the legal entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data – is New Humanity, ETS, with registered office at Via Piave n.15, Grottaferrata (RM), hereinafter New Humanity.
Following consultation of this website and the platforms, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.
2. Categories and origin of data processed
All personal data provided will be processed in a lawful, correct and transparent manner in order to provide the services requested as well as to respond to the Users’ communications and questions.
Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. The data collected includes information relating to access, such as IP addresses and domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, as well as other parameters regarding the computer environment used by users. Such data will be processed for the time strictly necessary to meet the purposes set out in this notice.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this site or the use of the reserved area by filling in web forms, involves the subsequent acquisition and processing of the data necessary to offer the service requested and/or respond to requests, as well as any other personal data entered. Specific information is reported or displayed on the pages of platforms set up for particular services on request.
If access to particular services is conditional on the registration of personal data, the following general provisions apply:
• Personal data, collected and stored in databases, will be processed by employees and those appointed by the data controller, and will not be disclosed or communicated to third parties, except in the cases provided for by law and in the manner permitted by it;
• The interested party has the right to exercise the rights provided for in this information notice.

4. Purpose, legal basis
Personal data are processed exclusively for the purposes that fall within the services provided by the site or for the fulfillment of legal or regulatory requirements. Within the scope of these purposes, the processing may concern the data necessary for the management of relations, including data provided at the time of registration or use of online services.
Personal data are processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected.
Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.
5. Methods of data processing
Personal data are processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access. In view of the consent given by the user, if requested for specific services, the user may be contacted by e-mail, sms, or through any equivalent electronic means or by letter or call through an operator at all contact details provided. If you prefer to be contacted only at one or some of these addresses, you can make an express request using the form available in the specific section to which the service relates.
The site is equipped with a system of notifications through which the user can choose the content of his/her interest, delivered through email, messaging applications (Facebook-Messenger) and browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, Android IOS, Windows, etc.).
The subscription service to the notification system using email directs to a free newsletter and on request of the user and is local to the site, control is not given to a third party services, so it is stored and managed on the local server. Instead, a subscription through messaging applications and browsers is done according to the respective rules and privacy policy of the channel chosen by the user.
The data is only recorded on the site and managed locally on the site. Emails are sent via an SMTP owned by P.A.F.O.M. If on a browser or on a messaging application it is sent via the one chosen by the user.
A Notification system: Each time an email with notifications is sent, the user is free to ask to unsubscribe through the footer located in the email, where it is written: «If you received this message incorrectly and you are not interested: unsubscribe» or similar. To deactivate the notifications on the browser, the user must go to the menu and deactivate the notifications. Instead, for messaging applications, the user only needs to send the message «stop notifications» in the chat.
6. Recipients
The data will be processed by internal subjects and may be brought to the knowledge of other external subjects working as operators or in the maintenance of the electronic instruments or other external subjects where communication is required by law or regulation or is necessary for the performance of tasks and institutional purposes.
7. Retention period
The personal data collected and processed in accordance with this Information Notice will be kept by the Owner for the period necessary for the provision of the service and in any case for the time necessary for the execution of any obligations required by law or regulation.
8. Rights of the interested party
The Applicable Law gives users a number of rights including the right:
a) to obtain at any time confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him/her are being processed and, if so, to obtain access to the personal data and information on the categories of personal data processed, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data are or will be communicated;
(b) to request the correction of inaccurate personal data, the integration of incomplete data or the restriction of processing concerning him/her or to object to the processing of such data;
c) to lodge a complaint to the Data Protection Officer or to the competent authority of the place of habitual residence or domicile of those who contest a violation of their rights, following the procedures and indications published on the official website of the Authority on www.garanteprivacy.it;
d) to ask for the immediate deletion of personal data concerning him/her when consent is revoked, when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed, when the legal basis for processing has ceased to exist, when they have been processed unlawfully;
(e) ‘data portability’: the GDPR introduces the new right to data portability. This right allows the data subject to receive his/her personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and – under certain conditions – to transmit them to another data controller without hindrance. Only personal data that (a) concern the data subject are portable, and (b) have been provided by the data subject; (c) the processing of which is based exclusively on a contract or the consent of the data subject; (d) the data are processed only with the aid of electronic means (paper files and manual data processing are excluded from portability).
9. Provision of feedback to requests from the data subject and contact details
New Humanity also performs the functions of data controller, also for the purposes of feedback to be provided to the data subject for the exercise of the rights set forth in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 («GDPR»).
New Humanity can therefore be contacted for any request, clarification or feedback on the application of the legislation on the protection of personal data and for the actual exercise of the rights of the person concerned, better indicated in the previous paragraph, even if it is necessary to update, modify, supplement, correct and/or delete the data, as provided for by the legislation or in relation to the assessment of the specific needs explicitly proposed by the person concerned.
